The Student Financial Wellness initiative at the University of Notre Dame was jumpstarted in 2015 in coordination with Notre Dame's Student Government. With this partnership, the Financial Wellness Student Group aims to educate students of all backgrounds on how to live a financially healthy lifestyle in all stages of life. Through interactive information sessions on campus with industry leaders and esteemed faculty to a variety of online resources, students will have a multitude of resources available to increase their financial awareness.
In the Fall 2015 academic semester, Notre Dame's Student Government launched the university's first live information session on budgeting, saving, and credit with the Office of Financial Aid and 1st Source Bank. The Student Financial Wellness program will continue these informational meetings throughout the 2017-2018 academic school year through a series of lectures and wide-ranging initiaitves.
